Dow Jones and the Saturnwave

The correlation between the long-term trend of the Dow Jones and the Saturn wave is striking. When the wave is descending the Dow remains stagnate, despite dramatic fluctuations; when the wave mounts, so does the stock market.  Read more »

Mundane Astrology

Mundane astrology is the most ancient form of astrology known and therefore has been named ‘The Mother of all Astrology’. The earliest recorded data is from Mesopotamia , mid- Second Millennium BC, approximately 3500 years ago. The character of the times was determined by cycles of heavenly bodies. This principle was conceived as a wave-like motion related to processes such as the rise and fall of civilisations, war and peace. Naturally, the burning question now is whether the simplicity of this concept can be retraced throughout history?  Read more »

Waves of Wars

This research aims to verify a proposed link between the worldwide outbreak of wars since 1700 and the Cyclic Index of Barbault. To make a clearer distinction this has been supplemented by two sub-indexes. The three indexes created in this way are respectively called the Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter wave; each has its own rhythm, unique to the respective planets after which they are named.  Read more »

The inner power of imagination

In this article we discuss the planetary influences on culture, 600 BC - 2000 AD. We will take a closer look at the cycles of the, to the naked eye invisible, "mystery" planets Pluto, Neptune and Uranus and the structure of the historical process. Robert D. Doolaard

A former student of the Rotterdam Art Academy, he spent many years of his life working as an artist-painter. From 1962 he studied astrology, his particular interest centring on mundane astrology. In 1986  his book Waves was published by Ankh-Hermes. In this, Robert Doolaard described his unique research into the correlation between planetary cycles and the peaks and lows in recorded history over the past twenty-six centuries.
According to Doolaard, civilisation consists of the collective effort by humankind to rid the world of suffering. Both the successes as the failures of this effort run parallel to differentiable phases of planetary cycles. He therefore also refers to this original new vision into our past as planetary-cyclic historiography.
